Parents, fellow scholars and school officials watched with great pride as Young Coggs Williams High School celebrated their annual cultural diversity program on Friday, February 27, 2015. Students were able to celebrate their rich heritage through African dance, Negro spirituals and down gospel music! The drama classes presented skits about the life and incredible accounts of the bravery of Rosa Parks, Madame C.J. Walker and the many hero and heroines of African American history. Special thanks to Miss Coleman for her hard work and enthusiasm in coordinating the event. Submitted by Elizabeth Coleman
